Time to hand in the keys to the Lance!
Here is our final LIVE updates from over on the Lance Camper Facebook page where we checked in from the night before and just moments before from saying our goodbyes and heading out of Lancaster with our fifth wheel.

We were delighted to find our truck and fifth wheel in fine condition when we returned. Besides a charge on the truck batteries and reconnecting the batteries for the RV, it all started right up without problems!

It has been an amazing experience, and we’re SO excited to share with you all the remaining episodes of our journey!
Also, our TV Show, “The RVers,” in premiering soon on the Discovery Channel! We’d love for you to tune in! Here’s what you need to know to watch:

Thanks for sharing your travels and inspiring those of us with wanderlust! Your videos were exceptionally well done, the travelogue definitely inspired me to look north for future trips, and your product reviews made me plan a truck camper in my future! (One question: your note on charging the batteries via the truck alternator said a DC-DC connection would be better — what would that entail? Tom’s tech details were much appreciated btw).

Hey Rob, Check out this blog post: https://www.mortonsonthemove.com/toms-tech-blog/truck-camper-lithium-alternator-charging It has an updated schematic with the DC-DC converter and talks about what that would entail. Hope this helps!

Glad you arrived back safely . You sure had an awesome adventure . Were all your expenses paid for by Lance or did you pay the expenses of the trip out of pocket ? Tom are your sunglasses prescription or did you have contact lenses on your eyes ? Belated welcome home . If ya's are still in Florida I hope we can get together . I live on the west coast not to far south of Weeki Wachee State Park home of the Live Mermaid Show in the spring fed tank w/the glass viewing wall. There is a water park there & a boat ride you can go on on the river .

Hi Bob, Lance covered all expenses related to vehicle maintenance, the rest was our responsibility. We have both contacts and prescription sunglasses, depending on the activity of the day. In the pic above these are prescription sunglasses.

A great vlog about your Alaska trip. We have family in Anchorage and drove several of the routes you covered in our truck with a pop up Four Wheel Camper Keystone. Just saw the turn in the keys video, did you get a lease agreement as part of a promo for the camper? And what about the truck? That’s a lot of rolling stock to buy and then sell 6 months later.

Hi Brian, the Go North project was in partnership with Lance, and we loaned the truck and camper from their marketing department for this expedition.
