Islamorada is approximately halfway between Key Largo and Key West. It’s an excellent place to situate yourself in the Keys and experience all its offerings.

The best time of year to stay at Islamorada RV parks is December through March, when temperatures are milder and hurricane season is over. Islamorada is pleasant all year long, but remember that there’s always a hurricane threat between June and November.

1. Fiesta Key RV Resort & Marina on Long Key 

Address: 70001 Overseas Hwy, Layton, FL 33001

About: Although Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina isn’t exactly an Islamorada RV park, but it’s on Long Key, just southwest of Islamorada on Highway 1. It sits on the water with a pool, hot tub, store, bathrooms, laundry facilities, a fish cleaning station, beach, beach bar, and restaurant.

The marina gives you the option of renting a boat slip, and there’s a boat and kayak launch. RV sites are full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity options. In addition, there are some waterfront sites.

Price: Rates range from $150 to $220 per night, depending on the season. Discounted monthly rates are available.

Why You’ll Love It: Many love the beach restaurant right on-site. Plus, there’s a fantastic pool overlooking the ocean. Boaters will love the marina, and you can often spot manatees and dolphins.

Reasons to Stay at Fiesta Key RV Resort in the Florida Keys

2. Key Ventures @96

Address: 96401 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037

About: Key Ventures @96 is a 55 years old and over RV park at mile marker 96 on Highway 1. It has ocean views and 25 RV sites. It’s not directly on Islamorada, but as you drive down the Keys, the next stop is Islamorada. RV sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity. The park also has cable, WiFi, laundry facilities, a dock, and a waterfront area. 

Price: Weekly and monthly rates are available. It costs between $400-$500 per week, and monthly rates run between $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the site and season.

Why You’ll Love It: You’ll love the direct access to the ocean and proximity to Islamorada and Key Largo.

3. Blue Fin Rock Harbor RV Park & Marina 

Address: 36 E 2nd St, Key Largo, FL 33037

About: Blue Fin Rock Harbor RV Park and Marina is just before Islamorada, as you’re leaving Key Largo. Its oceanfront sites make you feel like you’re right out on the water. RV sites have full hookups with 30/50 amp electrical service. The park has cable, purified water, laundry facilities, showers, a boat ramp, and a marina.

Price: This RV park requires a five-night minimum during the off-season, and a three-month minimum stay from December through March. You’ll need to call to get rates, as they are based on the time of year and length of stay.

Why You’ll Love It: The 12 oceanside RV sites come with some of the best views around. But you’ll love any site here, as it’s a small park and you’re always within a short walk to the water. The park is also within walking distance of Denny’s (the restaurant) in Key Largo.
