Amenities: At Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort, you’ll enjoy plenty of amenities. Sites have full hookups with 50 amp service. If you don’t have an RV, no problem! You can enjoy your stay at one of the 7 cabins available for rent.
Additional amenities include access to 4 beach walkways, 2 laundry facilities with TVs, 3 bathhouses with full service, and free WiFi and Cable. They also have a convenience store offering fresh coffee, fishing and beach gear, snacks, beer and beverages, and RV camping supplies.
Pet-Friendly: Yes, pets are allowed in RVs. Pets must be on a leash at all times. There are no restrictions on pets as long as they are quiet and friendly. Pets are NOT allowed in the cabins.

You’ll also enjoy hot showers, coin-operated laundry facilities, and a picnic and grilling area. Any questions or concerns you have can be easily addressed with the on-site camp host.
This park also has many great outdoor amenities including a kayak launch, direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, a free trolley to Siesta Beach and village, horseshoe pits, and a playground.
Pet-Friendly: No. Only service animals are allowed.
Why You’ll Love It: Turtle Beach has direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. As if that wasn’t good enough, you can hop on a free trolley to one of the top-rated beaches in the US, Siesta Beach! We also love that Turtle Beach is a smaller Florida campground. You’ll feel more in touch with nature and less like you’re in a parking lot.
You’ll also be close to the public park so you can easily launch a boat or rent out the large pavilion for your next family reunion. Sarasota also has plenty of things to do. You can rent a bike to cruise along the beach, enjoy a round of golf, catch a concert, or check out a museum or art gallery.

3. Camp Gulf

Amenities: Camp Gulf is bursting at the seams with amenities the entire family will enjoy. Here’s what you can expect to enjoy while you’re there. They have a water slide, 2 heated pools, a hot tub, and a casting lake. You can also store your boat on-site for $25 a day.
Other amenities include the option to play basketball, shuffleboard, carpet ball, games, billiards, puzzles, bean bag toss, Xbox, and more. There is also a playground and a place to exchange books.
Camp Gulf boasts free high-speed WiFi, cable, 22 family-style bathrooms, commercial laundry facilities, a camp store, an activity center, and even planned events/activities. If that isn’t enough, you can rent golf carts, beach carts, Segways, Yolo boards, wagons, and pedal carts. The whole family will be blown away by this RV Park!
Pet-Friendly: Some sites are pet friendly. The 800 sites are not because local law prohibits animals from being on or near the beach. There are also some pet-friendly cabins for rent.

Pet-Friendly: Yes, and it is located across the street from a dog-friendly beach. The campground also has a fenced-in dog run and play area. They even allow dogs inside the buildings.
Why You’ll Love It: If you are a pet lover and the thought of leaving your furbaby in the RV while you play on the beach sounds terrible, have no fear! Carrabelle Beach is the perfect oceanfront campground in Florida to bring your pet. Pet-Friendly: Yes, most pets are allowed in RVs, but pets are not allowed on the beaches. Pets are not allowed in cabins either. Captive wild animals and barnyard animals, excluding horses, are not permitted. Pets have to be up-to-date on their vaccines, and owners will be asked to leave if pets are aggressive, vicious, or disruptive.
Why You’ll Love It: This state park is tucked into the forest so you can truly escape the hustle and bustle. While RV camping sites are not located directly on the beach, you can get there in only a few minutes on a secluded walking path through the forest. There you can take in the 1 mile of pristine beach.
Nearby you can enjoy birdwatching, hiking, fishing, biking, paddling, and wildlife viewing. This is a perfect park for nature lovers who don’t mind a slower pace. The coastal dune lakes are also a unique feature. You can only find these in Florida and Oregon, so you’ll enjoy a special treat you can’t get anywhere else.

6. Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area Campground

Amenities: This State Recreation Area has many of the same amenities as Grayton Beach. Gamble Rogers also offers hot showers, electric hookups, and a dump station. Pet-Friendly: Yes. Domestic pets are allowed on RV and tent sites.
Why You’ll Love It: This campground is situated right along the Atlantic Ocean with many beach camping RV sites on the slightly raised dunes. This oceanfront campground in Florida has an amazing location between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, so you have water all around.
Three species of sea turtles nest on these beaches from May to September, so you will probably get to enjoy seeing these great turtles. We also love that you can fish right from the beach. Additionally, you can enjoy snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing, and more on the ocean. Nearby there are also nature trails and hikes perfect for outdoor lovers.

7. Coastline RV Resort and Campground

Amenities: The Coastline RV Resort and Campground offers both options for a resort feel or a more traditional Florida beach camping experience. Amenities vary depending on which option you choose. Resort Amenities include spaces that accommodate coaches up to 45 feet with brick paver patios, a picnic table, and grills on premium sites. All sites have 20/30/50 amp service and the entire park has WiFi as well as cable TV.
Coastline additionally provides a rec center, clubhouse with a full kitchen, a bathhouse, swimming pool, and coin-operated laundry facilities. There is even fishing directly across from the resort and access to the resort’s private 100-foot pier.
This oceanfront campground’s amenities aren’t quite as extensive as others in Florida, but it still gives you full hookup sites, a concrete patio, and a picnic table. They, too, have a bathhouse and laundry room. And there is even a restaurant on-site if you don’t feel like cooking after a long day at the beach.
Pet-Friendly: Yes.
Why You’ll Love It: Spacious sites with pristine landscaping and ocean views will transport you to your own personal Florida beach camping paradise. We also love the option to fish on your own private pier. If you opt for the campground site, you’ll enjoy large shaded sites tucked into the surrounding trees.

Amenities: This State Park offers most of the expected amenities for a state park, including restrooms with hot showers, wheelchair-accessible sites, and a picnic pavilion with charcoal grills. For the kids, there is a playground, and for you, there is a kayak launch located right inside the campground.
Pet-Friendly: Yes, however, pets are not allowed inside buildings or on the beach and must be kept on a 6-foot leash.
Why You’ll Love It: St. George Island State Park offers a great place to look for shells. There are also geocaches hidden throughout the park and 2.5 miles of hiking trails. While the park itself doesn’t have a lot in the way of amenities, the ocean views cannot be matched! Considering this park is on an island, you will have views of the water almost anywhere you look.
You’ll have time to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty with miles of undeveloped beaches. You’ll also see lots of wildlife including dolphins, sea turtles, and various species of birds. This park is the perfect place to escape the crowds at many of Florida’s beaches and do some quality camping at the same time.

9. Emerald Beach RV Park

Amenities: Emerald Beach has full hookups, which include free Cable TV and WiFi. They also have laundry rooms, showers and bathrooms, and a heated pool. For your convenience, you can get ice and propane without having to leave camp.
Pet-Friendly: Yes, up to 3 pets are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the beach. Rottweilers and pit bulls are prohibited, as are any vicious or barking dogs.
Why You’ll Love It: This gem of an oceanfront RV park was rated the #1 campground in NW Florida! It is located just minutes from the Gulf beaches, but something we absolutely love is the private beach access on the Santa Rosa Sound. Enjoying an uncrowded beach in Florida can be a challenge, but not so here!
Navarre also offers a plethora of sites for marine enthusiasts including the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Marine Science Center, and Gulf Coast Discovery Center. There are also many charters you can take for a deep-sea fishing experience you won’t soon forget!

10. Navarre Beach Camping Resort

Amenities: This oceanfront campground in Florida has beautiful landscaping throughout and boasts a lot of updated amenities, including updated high-speed WiFi, beachside RV sites with swings, pull-through sites, and modern bathhouses. Sites are 30 or 50 amp with water and sewer at most sites, although not all sites have sewer.
If you don’t have an RV, no problem! There are cool, hip cabin rentals available too. Other amenities we love are the game room, playground, heated pool, hot tub, and dog walk area. The park also includes a camp store with grocery items, laundry, a fitness center, and a rec hall with a full kitchen. They also have a private, 300-foot pier for you to enjoy!
Pet-Friendly: Yes. Pets are allowed at RV sites and in some cabins. Maximum of 3 pets per pet-friendly cabin. A $25 per pet fee is assessed for cleaning and is not refundable. Pets are not allowed on the beach.
Why You’ll Love It: This lovely beach camping resort has beachfront access to the less crowded Santa Rosa Sound in Florida. It has modern amenities with immaculate landscaping. Nearby you can enjoy a rental at Navarre Family Watersports. They rent out pontoons, jet skis, CraigCats, paddleboards, and kayaks. You can also rent equipment for snorkeling and fishing.
In addition, the surrounding area has other sites to see, including museums, lighthouses, and the Southern Raceway.
