We stayed at Paradise by the Sea RV Resort, a campground near San Diego, CA. This is a quick overview of our thoughts on the place!
Overall we had a great time and would recommend this park to someone looking to stay at a campground in the San Diego and Oceanside areas in Southern California.
The park is located just a short paved, level walk to the beach out the back gate of the park. Downtown Oceanside and the pier is just a mile down the way. We had so much fun on the beach. Oceanside was a nice area and the beaches were great!
This campground really caters to surfers, and warm rinse-off showers are on-site at the campground. They also rent surfboards, bikes, and kayaks if you don’t have them yourselves.
This park is a bit more expensive than some surrounding parks but for the proximity to the beach and the amenities we think it is worth it considering – any other beach vacation would cost much more!
If you’re looking for a great campground near San Diego, definitely check this place out.
