2. Perdido Key RV Resort and Marina

Address: 13770 River Rd, Pensacola, FL, 32507

About: Perdido Key RV Resort and Marina is located on the Intercoastal Waterway between Pensacola Pass and Orange Beach. The resort features 56 sites, all with full hookups and a picnic table.

It has 23 marina slips, making this a perfect place for those hoping to do some boating. If you don’t want to camp you can also rent three-bedroom townhomes.

4. Avalon Landing RV Park

About: If you don’t want to stay right on the Gulf but still want some waterfront access, you may enjoy Avalon Landing RV Park. It sits on the Indian Bayou Water Way, or you could take a short drive to the beach.

I think Big Lagoon State Park should have gotten mentioned. It's only 22$ a night and the sites are private,shower houses clean, and being on the bay the water is always calm.

Fort Pickens at the National Seashore in Pensacola was one of the best beaches we've seen. Especially in December there was hardly anyone walking the beaches. You felt like you had it to yourself!

Although a new height restriction will prevent 5th wheels and Class A’s from staying there, I am surprised you neglected to mention Fort Pickens National Seashore camping.
