Survived the Dempster! - Live from Dawson City, Yukon

8/3/2019

We survived our return trip on the Dempster Highway back to Dawson City. This was our 3rd time in Dawson, and this time we actually got to hang around and explore this cool Gold Rush town.
Besides some dust on the back compartments of the Lance 1172, a layer of dirt all along the exterior and the truck, and some inevitable wear on the tires, we survived the Dempster without any issues! We were very happy about this, as the Dempster is notorious for causing flat tires, chipped windshields, and dust-ridden RV interiors.

We had some time to spend in Dawson City, one of the towns that boomed during the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush. It was fascinating to learn about the history, explore the remnants of this vibrant past, and try out some of the local traditions. Stay tuned to the Go North series as we share our experience!

I’m watching & waiting for your video on the Dempster Highway & I cant find it. I have been up the Dempster 4 times since 1992 & I’ve been trying to get my husband to go with me. I thought your videos might help but I can’t find them, even though I know you are off the highway. Where can I see the video???
I hope your video is as fabulous as my trips have been.
Kim

Hi Kim! Sorry for the teaser and confusion - these Lance Live videos are real-time, and our Go North video series has about 1-2 month lead time to allow for post-production. The Dempster video isn't out yet, but should hopefully be coming out early-mid September. Thanks so much for watching! ~C
